THE SPACE
This Vintage One Bedroom is located at the front of The Blue Door on Church Street, a restored 1930s plantation home with three private accommodations under one roof.
Originally built in 1929, this villa retains its original vertical wood paneling, high ceilings, abundant natural light, and relaxed plantation-era character, while offering modern comforts for an easy Maui stay.
The bedroom features a king-size Helix mattress, and the living room includes a queen-size memory foam sleeper sofa for additional guests.
The large bar-style kitchenette includes plates, glasses, silverware, coffee mugs, coffee maker, hot water kettle, hot plate with pots and pans, microwave, salt, pepper, and other essentials. Please note that this villa does not have a full oven.
The bathroom includes a large bathtub and a separate rainfall shower, making it easy to unwind after a day at the beach, hiking, or exploring the island.
This Vintage One Bedroom also includes fast WiFi, cable, Smart TV, air conditioning throughout, beach towels, and on-site parking for one vehicle.

This place is such a gem! The couches and bed were incredibly comfortable, and I loved the shower and soaking tub. It was super quiet and relaxing while still being close to everything. We could easily walk to great coffee shops, restaurants, and bakeries. I would absolutely stay here again!

Eric’s place was beautiful inside and out, exactly as pictured. Everything was spotless as if we were the first to have stayed there and the location is just perfect, great central spot. Lots of restaurants in walking distance and Eric sent us a great guide with all kinds of recommendations. The pullout couch was perfect for our two young children, it was low to the ground and well cushioned. Even the basket of welcome snacks felt curated for our young kids too. Eric was great with communicating checkin/out details and was there if we needed anything, though with our short stay we didn’t. The only things to note are that the parking space is tight and you may be woken up by the local rooster (we didn’t mind). We just wish we could have stayed longer! Hopefully next time we will.
