Great place to stay!

Beautiful home, great location, responsive host. We had a large group of 7 adults and 1 child that occupied all three villas and it was the perfect fit! Everything was as described, quiet neighborhood and beautiful landscaping. Even a bonus to have beach chairs, ice chests and beach umbrellas making our beach days so much more enjoyable. We truly enjoyed our time in the home and on the island. Lots of great places to eat, shop and explore.

My family and I loved our stay. Daily breakfast on the lanai, surrounded by mountains. They had beach chairs and towels that we used on our beach outings. And got a great nights sleep after full days of adventure in comfortable beds. Eric is a very responsive and generous host. Will definitely try and stay here again if we return to Maui.

This place is such a gem! The couches and bed were incredibly comfortable, and I loved the shower and soaking tub. It was super quiet and relaxing while still being close to everything. We could easily walk to great coffee shops, restaurants, and bakeries. I would absolutely stay here again!

Amazing spot! I loved having our own private space in the backyard. We rented both the front unit and this one, and it was the perfect setup. Super cozy and within walking distance of lots of great restaurants and cafés. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for being such a responsive and accommodating host!

We used all three spaces in the home for a party of 9 people. It worked out perfectly. It allowed us all to be close -but also with some privacy for individual families. We could easily gather on the upstairs deck or the porch to visit or share a meal. The location is great! We explored many parts of the island given the central location. Can walk to a local food court as well as the downtown area with a great juice shop (Maui Juice) and we really liked Mystic Coffee attic which was also accessible via short walk. Arigato Sushi and Tiffany’s -these were great with short drive. One of our members even walked to enjoy a local church service. The house was beautifully decorated/designed with comfy beds and the bathrooms were superb. The individual kitchen spaces were perfect and stocked with all things needed. The porches were nice to watch the sunrise and have some quiet time in the mornings. We really loved our stay and were happy we chose this house and location over a resort

Worked out really well for our family. We had my family, my mother and father in law and my brother and sister in law traveling with us. The property gave us all our own space while still being together.

We had an amazing stay at The Blue Door and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Maui. The apartment was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of our favorite features was the balcony, where we enjoyed the Hawaiian breeze, relaxed in the evenings, and made good use of the BBQ. The location is perfect—just a 5-minute walk to Wailuku Coffee Company and only about 15 minutes drive to Paia and beautiful Baldwin Beach. The hosts thoughtfully provided beach towels, beach chairs, and an umbrella, which we used almost daily and greatly appreciated. These little extras made our beach days so much more convenient. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay. The Blue Door feel like a home away from home. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Maui! 🌺🏖️🌴

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property! Traveling as two friends, we couldn't have asked for a better base for our Maui vacation.The room was incredibly clean, spacious, and featured a massive, super-comfortable bed. We especially loved having a fully equipped kitchen, which allowed us to prepare our own meals. Another huge highlight was the beautiful yard, which was the perfect, relaxing spot to unwind in the mornings and evenings.The property was packed with thoughtful amenities that made our stay completely hassle-free. Above all, our host was incredibly welcoming and hospitable, ensuring we had everything we needed and offering great local tips.We highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Maui and would love to stay here again!

Our second time staying here and we absolutely love it! 😍 The owners are incredibly kind, welcoming, and always quick to respond whenever we had a question or needed anything. We really appreciated them checking in on us throughout our stay to make sure everything was going well. The property is clean, comfortable, and feels like a home away from home. It's clear that the owners genuinely care about their guests and go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. We can't wait to come back again and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Mahalo for another wonderful visit!

Our party consisted of 2 families (4 adults/4 teens) and the space worked wonderfully. Very clean, stylish units. Eric, the host, is kind and very responsive.

This was an amazing property for our family vacation! We were able to all be together but still have our own spaces to regroup. The house was so clean and so beautiful we loved eating breakfast and dinner on the back deck and hanging out on the back patio. This was a great way to experience Maui its a short walk to local coffee shops and restaurants which was super convenient on nights we were wanting to eat at the house. Having a laundry room was so nice since we went to the beach everyday and did lots of hiking. The sauna was also a fun bonus we used every day. I highly HIGHLY recommend this rental it was truly amazing place to go back to and relax/recharge after a day of exploring Maui. My whole family agrees this was such an amazing place to call home for the week.

Eric’s place was beautiful inside and out, exactly as pictured. Everything was spotless as if we were the first to have stayed there and the location is just perfect, great central spot. Lots of restaurants in walking distance and Eric sent us a great guide with all kinds of recommendations. The pullout couch was perfect for our two young children, it was low to the ground and well cushioned. Even the basket of welcome snacks felt curated for our young kids too. Eric was great with communicating checkin/out details and was there if we needed anything, though with our short stay we didn’t. The only things to note are that the parking space is tight and you may be woken up by the local rooster (we didn’t mind). We just wish we could have stayed longer! Hopefully next time we will.

The best of both worlds, thoughtfully renovated with modern touches while preserving the timeless charm and character that only an older home can offer. Spotlessly clean, fully stocked with all the amenities you need, and a host who communicates promptly and efficiently.

Le logement d Éric est très bien placé pour partir à la découverte de l île de Maui (très proche de l aéroport). Le voisinage est très calme. Le jardin est magnifique et la femme qui l’entretient est très avenante et agréable. Le seul bémol concerne les bruits du logement au dessus, cependant nous étions prévenus grâce aux différents avis laissés par les occupants précédents.

We had the best and most relaxing stay at the blue door! The patio was a favorite hangout spot and was so cozy with lights. They provide a fully stocked kitchen with olive oil and spices- perfect for meals in. Thank you for the best stay!

Everything was great — the place matched the description and photos perfectly. A lovely courtyard to hang out in, and a bedroom surrounded by so much greenery it felt like sleeping in the jungle. We absolutely loved it! Thank you for the hospitality.

Eric was such an amazing host. I stayed here while my mom was in the hospital and he was extremely accommodative and helpful during a very hard time. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I loved our stay here! I have pretty high standards when it comes to cleanliness and I was very impressed! It’s decorated so cute, and the couch and bed are super comfy. The two AC units were super nice as well. It was a great central location that made it easy to explore the whole island throughout the week. Wailuku is definitely a more run down part of town but it was quiet and I felt safe. Eric was a great host and made the check in and check out super easy. Highly recommend if you prefer a less touristy vibe away from all the resorts and crowds. So happy I chose the blue door on church street!!

This was *by far* our favorite Airbnb on our trip of the islands. Chef’s kiss. 🤌 Beautiful home, we enjoyed the powerful ac units in the rooms, loved the outdoor furniture, loved that there were seasonings in the kitchen, and really appreciated that the washer and dryer downstairs were well kept and not stinky/mildewy/musty. (You’d be surprised how many places have disgusting washer/dryer machines and these were not, which was so nice after 2 weeks of traveling. A luxury, truly.) Eric was super nice and responsive and didn’t seem to get tired of me messaging him about various things, so thank you for that Eric! We ended up having a personal emergency on the last night and asked if we could have a late checkout or extra time the next morning, and luckily Eric was able to accommodate us which was a life saver. You can tell this place is valued and care for and Eric and his crew care about their guests. Well worth the price of the stay. Thank you for everything!

The place is very lovely and definitely is one of the highligts of our trip to Maui. The renovation is very pretty. Location is great, close to nearly all places that you'll travel to. Will definitely come back again!

Had a lovely stay with my husband at the Bluedoor Airbnb in Maui. We loved how quiet the location was and central the house was to near by towns / beaches! The local bar / restaurant called Parlay was also a lovely little local spot in close proximity to the house.

The unit was absolutely beautiful. It was clean, neat and so tastefully decorated. The porch was fantastic and we loved getting to grill. We had a lot of rain during our stay and we could not have asked for a more comfortable cozy place to hold up in!! The location worked well for us. It was off the beaten path but close to everything. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Such a cute space! The bathtub was so relaxing. The mattress in the bedroom was so comfortable along with the sheets. We came at an unfortunate time with the storm so we didn’t take advantage of the outdoor space but did get to enjoy coffee on the front porch. The only cons I think I would say was not having a dishwasher and oven. The kitchen had lots of other things to cook with tho. It was a great stay! We would stay again for sure.
